Donald and I tackle one of the lakes in Pyramid State Park for some brushpile action. The Ifishillinois website contains maps for the various lakes in the complex, that include locations of the brushpiles and man made structures in the lakes. These lakes are pretty devoid of natural structure (laydowns, etc), so I rely on these maps to show me the locations. Once I find them I put the livescope on them to see if there are fish around it. Many of the piles except for three of them on this lake didn’t really have fish on them today, but we managed 27 fish that we kept on the day. Quite enough for a 4th of July fish fry!!
