The MoFisherman and I tackle a popular Southern Illinois Lake Livescoping stakebeds. I am still learning, and my buddy is new to it for the most part. We are using no minnows, strictly Brushpile Jigs in various colors and profiles. This lake is known for a good winter bite. The crappie get stacked up on main lake structures and feed up on shad for the winter. My experience has been that once the water temp drops under 50 degrees, the bite is on fire.
