Join me for a trip out on the St Johns River in NE Florida for a shrimping expedition. I will go out and show you how we catch the wild shrimp in our area, bring them back home and clean them for the table. Then I will teach you how to make the BEST FRIED SHRIMP you have ever tasted with my SECRET BATTER. I will fry them up in the old cast iron pot and serve them up with some HOME GROWN vegetables. Almost everything in this dish, I either caught or grew myself here. This dish gives a lot of satisfaction knowing where all of the main ingredients came from.
