After a short failed attempt at catching perch this morning, I jump on Crab Orchard Lake for a few hours of catch and release fishing. It is December 23rd and fish are stacked on structure throughout the lake! I am using Deep Ledge Jigs by Lake Shelbyville Guide and Brushpile Jigs, using a pendulum technique to swim the bait past the structure, imitating the bait fish. It was a smashing success!!
