Solo Hiking In Hawaii on The Pu’u O’o Trail. Today Jared goes on a solo hike, 30 miles total, along the Pu’u O’o Trail here on the Big Island of Hawaii. He sets off from the side of Mauna Kea along the saddle road, and heads to the slopes of Mauna Loa, some 15 miles away. He travels through forests, lava fields, and small kine unmarked trails, alone.
