Mallard Hunting New Mexico with Uneven Terrain Outdoors and my724outdoors.com!
After watching ducks traffic back and forth from a feeding area to huntable public land, Connor and Brian hiked into the area they saw the birds going into and found a secluded groundwater-fed oxbow on the old river channel.
About a month later, Zach and Connor tried it out and shot their limits of mallards Saturday evening and Sunday morning during two cloudy and calm days – not great conditions for duck hunting. Luckily, the abundance of ducks still led to two days of limits. The mallard was banded nearby at Huey WMA. Enjoy the film!
