I am creek crappie fishing from the bank during the artic blast of 2024. I am creek crappie fishing in Texas, where temperatures almost reached 0 degrees for consecutive days. I am crappie fishing with a jig and bobber to catch these cold water crappie. These creek crappie couldn’t resist those Slab City Jigs under a slip cork. For my crappie fishing technique, I had to work the jig under the slip cork very very slow, something I’m not use to, these crappie would not hit the jig if it was moving to fast.
