We spend the afternoon Just Ramblin’ Around the Historic Columbia Gorge. We travel along the Historic Columbia Gorge Highway and check out 5 waterfalls along the way. All of the waterfalls are easily accessible and so convenient to see. There are numerous trails up and down the falls and high up into hills overlooking the beautiful Columbia River Gorge. We end the day having beers and food at the Gorges Beer Company in Cascade Locks, Oregon. The Historic Columbia River Highway is a scenic highway that runs along the Columbia River Gorge in Oregon, United States. It was constructed between 1913 and 1922 and was the first scenic highway in the United States to be designated a National Historic Landmark.
