In this video, I am kayak fishing with a jig around docks. I am shooting my crappie jig under this dock. Crappie are using the shade and structure that the dock provides to ambush bait. Dock shooting for crappie can be easier when fishing from a kayak, because you are lower to the water and have a better angle to shoot your jig under the dock. Post spawn crappie fishing is starting to heat up in East Texas and these crappie are hungry! Don’t miss some of the best crappie fishing of the year.
