The ODWC has made a concerted effort to build and new gun ranges at our WMA’s all over Oklahoma. In this episode, we give you a sneak peak at the new Atoka WMA gun range in SE OKlahoma. Then we take you to Lake Texoma as our anglers show us how they catch big wintertime striped bass. Next, we follow along with fisheries crews on the Lower Mountain Fork River in Beavers Bend State Park as they tag trout, to help better understand the movements up and down the trout fishery. Then, we dust off the archives and revisit a muzzleloader swamp rabbit hunt from 1995. Finally, we showcase Bamberger WMA and the beautiful Barron Fork River on our “Postcards from Oklahoma” segment.
