We went duck hunting before the snow arrived. We had to wait for the snowstorm to pass to grill some tasty duck. On January 21, 2025, Louisiana had a historic snowstorm that amazed many. Baton Rouge and New Orleans getting several inches, which is rare for the warm southern state. The snowstorm caused power outages and road closures as many people were not prepared for winter weather.
