Vertical Jigging With LiveScope For Crappie with PFGFishing and my724outdoors.com!
I visited Rend Lake on November 30th to try out some bridge fishing. One of my favorite things to do although some guys give me the business about it! I paired up my Brushpile Jigs with my Mafia Rods 13 ft Sniper and 8 ft Sharpshooter rods and away we went. Double jig rigs are on the menu, with Gold Rush and America on the Sharpshooter and Valentine and Disco Silver on the Sniper. The bite was a little slower than usual today but steady enough to keep me from getting bored. The new Sharpshooter Rod is a REALLY nice rod, with the versatility of being both a jigging and casting rod. Great sensitivity with a fast tip, what’s not to like about it? I did find a few objects around the bridges to fish on the livescope, although they were holding mostly small fish and yellow bass. There were a few keepers to be had there too.
