Crappie Fishing With A Jig and Cork Is AMAZING with PFGFishing and my724outdoors.com!
Alright one more episode from Crab Orchard Lake this spring! It’s late April and the spawn is going strong. However the lily pads are starting to grow out, and the gaps between them are filling in with other vegetation! The crappie are still in there, but it is harder to find gaps to fish in! I had to move a little farther away from the banks, and fish on the outer edges of the lily pads this time out. The combination of Brushpile Jigs and Mafia Rods proved deadly for anyone who came near it!! I only spent a few hours on the water and came away with a bakers dozen for the freezer.
