In this video, Walker & I find the motherload of bluegill beds. We are bluegill fishing in Texas on a lake we have never been on before. We use our side scan on our fish finder to find bluegill beds. These beds wont be a single hole or crater, but rather a “honeycomb” of beds and you should be able to actually see the bluegill inside of the beds. Usually the deeper the beds, the bigger the bluegill, but not always the case. We are using a simple bluegill fishing setup with a cricket and a bobber. I also give you some bluegill fishing tips that you can take out with you on your next outing. We caught some giant bluegill in this video, and plenty of them!
