Silver Dollar City, the name is iconic with the Missouri Ozarks. Jacob takes us around the park on its opening post Covid-19. Silver Dollar City, an 1880s-style theme park in Branson, Missouri, opened May 1, 1960, and has been internationally awarded for excellence in theme, presentation and operations, including the worldwide Applause Award for excellence, the THEA Award for theming and the Golden Ticket award for “Friendliest Park” in the entire theme park industry. In June 2019, Silver Dollar City was named in the top 5 amusement parks in America by USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice travel awards, along with the park’s An Old Time Christmas festival winning America’s Best Theme Park Holiday Event in December 2018 for its third straight win.
